Gene serves as the Chief Growth Officer for REI Systems. He leads Business Development and Marketing/Communications across REI Systems, orchestrates creation and management of service offerings, supervises partnership/teaming, and supports mergers and acquisitions. With experience spanning nearly three decades, Gene strengthens the REI Systems’ growth journey.

Gene is an expert in managing complex organizations, driving growth, strategy development and implementation, financial management, business operations, solution development and delivery of information technology, and consulting services. Prior to joining REI Systems, Gene served as COO of Concept Plus, LLC of Fairfax, VA and President of Koniag Services, Inc. and Arlluk Technology Solutions, LLC both of Chantilly, VA. Gene has held executive positions at Unisys Federal Systems and Booz Allen Hamilton where he focused on revenue growth and business management within the Government Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence markets.

Gene has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Buffalo, a BS in Physics from New York Brockport State University, and an MBA from George Mason University.

Gene has served in executive positions in professional community organizations including the American Council for Technology/Industry Advisory Council (ACT/IAC) and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). He served as Trustee on the Board for United Through Reading, a non-profit that supports military families globally. He is also a Committee Member of the Reston Homeowners Association, one of the largest HOAs in the nation.
