Sterling, Va. – REI Systems announced today that it has been contracted by the State of Utah to implement GovGrants® – REI’s cloud-based grants management solution built on the Salesforce platform – for 3 state agencies: the Utah State Board of Education, Office of Victims of Crime, and Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice. The State plans to bring other agencies onto the system as success is demonstrated.
Under this 5 year contract, REI will provide Utah with a fully integrated, enterprise-level, complete grants lifecycle solution for both “State as a Grantor” and “State as a Grantee” requirements. Utah sought a centralized grants management system that would automate the grants management business process across all state agencies and would ensure that grant information is readily available statewide to all levels of management.
GovGrants offers Utah a future-proof solution capable of evolving as both the Federal regulatory environment and State agencies’ grants business processes change. In addition, GovGrants will interface with Utah’s accounting system – FINET – to allow for a one-stop shop for grants information.
Using GovGrants, grant-making and grant-receiving agencies have seen grant performance in a matter of months rather than years. In addition to Utah, REI has implemented GovGrants at the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, the DC Department of Health, the City of San Diego, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). In addition, GovGrants is in the process of being deployed for several other State and Local organizations across the country.
