Recognition of firm’s Quality Management System Reaffirms Excellence in Service Delivery and Customer Satisfaction

Herndon, VA, July 20, 2010 – REI Systems (REI) announced today that it has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification of its quality management system. REI first achieved certification for ISO quality standards in 2004 under the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Developed by the International Organization of Standardization, the ISO standards are internationally recognized criteria for best management practices designed to ensure that organizations can consistently deliver high-quality products and services. Achieving ISO 9001 certification demonstrates that REI meets the highest standards for quality assurance in its products and services. Replacing the ISO 9001:2000 standard, ISO 9001:2008 is the latest in a family of standards oriented toward client service, establishing quality control standards for managing products, and services delivered to clients.

‘REI’s ISO 9001:2008 certification gives our customers the highest confidence in the support we provide, day in and day out,’ said Veer Bhartiya, REI Systems President. ‘Our ISO certification symbolizes the dedication to quality that our people bring to their work.”

To earn the ISO 9001:2008 certification, an independent auditor recently led a week-long appraisal at multiple REI offices. The appraisal included documentation examination, artifact reviews, and personnel interviews across several dozen management, engineering, support, and process management activities.

“We are extremely proud of this recognition and we will continue to express our focus on quality by delivering superior IT products and services and continuously striving for improvement,’ said Scott Fletcher, REI Systems Chief Operating Officer.
