Head of Mission Enablement and Innovation

As Head of Mission Enablement and Innovation at REI Systems, Indunil Ranaviraja is focused on strengthening how the firm connects mission insight and customer engagement through innovation to drive higher-value outcomes across federal programs.

Indunil joined the REI family in 2015 and has brought her passion for people and results as well as her entrepreneurial mindset to complement the company’s core business of mindfully modernizing technology for customer mission impact. She previously led the Mission Optimization Services business unit, where she built and scaled REI’s Advisory Services practice into a core capability and led it through a dynamic 2025, maintaining strong customer relationships and delivery performance, and securing new contract wins. 

 A winner of the 2025 Women in Technology Leadership Award, Indunil is a recognized thought leader in business transformation with domain expertise in the public sector. With organizations such as the United Nations, World Bank, IFES, and Booz Allen Hamilton, Indunil has accumulated over 20 years of experience helping federal agencies, non-governmental organizations, and multi- and bi-lateral donor agencies. She has supported senior executive customers define and execute transformational initiatives, reduce program operations complexity, and design collaborative and sustainable stakeholder engagements. One consistent theme throughout Indunil’s career is her all-in engagement style, which is rooted in her genuine interest in helping people.    

Indunil holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School with concentrations in public sector management and economics. She is a history buff and an avid cook/culinary enthusiast. Most weekends, Indunil can be found reading, cooking for her family and friends, or volunteering time with small businesses in her community.
