STERLING, Va. – REI Systems, a leading provider of innovative technology solutions for government, announced that the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) has selected GovGrants® to support the management and oversight of its grant programs. The configurable platform will help HCA standardize processes, strengthen subrecipient monitoring, improve financial visibility, and manage grants through one centralized system.
The implementation comes as states begin administering investments through the Rural Health Transformation Program, a $50 billion federal initiative led by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The program will distribute $10 billion annually from 2026 through 2030 to expand rural access to care, strengthen the healthcare workforce, improve infrastructure and technology, and advance innovative care models. Washington received approximately $181.3 million in first-year funding. The Rural Health Transformation Program is a centerpiece of the MAHA push to improve health in rural America. It was authorized by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (Section 71401 of Public Law 119-21) and empowers states to strengthen rural communities across America by improving healthcare access, quality, and outcomes by transforming the healthcare delivery ecosystem.
