Herndon, VA, November 3, 2010 — REI Systems (REI) announced today that it is has been awarded a new contract by the Office of the Comptroller of The City New York to design new web applications and develop new content management functionality in support of New York City’s municipal spending transparency initiatives.

My Money NYC is a suite of public-facing online applications designed to help make New York City’s finances more transparent. The effort is modeled on REI’s work with U.S. Office of Management and Budget, where REI has developed several performance management dashboards like for the Federal Government, including ITDashboard.gov and USAspending.gov.
“REI is pleased to begin a new relationship with the City of New York in support of its transparency and performance measurement initiatives,” said Veer Bhartiya, REI Systems President. “We have developed a strong portfolio of work around the needs of public officials to report results to their constituents, and we are happy the citizens of New York will be able to look more closely at how public monies are spent.”
