TIPSS-4 Contract is Designed to Provide IT Services and Support to the Internal Revenue Service and Other Treasury Agencies

Herndon, VA, June 27, 2011 — REI Systems (REI) announced today that it is a member of two contractor teams that have been awarded TIPSS-4 contracts by the U.S. Department of The Treasury.

TIPSS stands for Total Information Processing Support Services. Now in its fourth iteration, the contract vehicle was conceived by the Internal Revenue Service to provide a ready, pre-qualified list of vendors who can compete primarily for the IRS’s substantial IT and data processing requirements.

REI will participate as a subcontractor to QinetiQ-NA on the TIPSS-4 ITS contract vehicle reserved for large business prime contractors, and to McLean-based Paragon Technology Group on the TIPSS 4 SB contract vehicle reserved for small business prime contractors. On each contractor team, REI is positioned to provide expert software application development services and performance management support to users of the TIPSS-4 contract vehicle.

“This is a great opportunity for REI to expand its Treasury customer base” said Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Scott Fletcher.  “We are happy to join the QinetiQ Team and the Paragon Team to deliver solutions that can make a difference for our customers,” said Fletcher.

REI currently provides software engineering and Business Process Management implementation support to the Treasury Department’s Office of Comptroller of the Currency.
