Recently, REI Systems’ Senior Director Jeff Myers, Program Manager Rujuta Waknis, and Executive Director of the National Grants Management Association, Shelly Slebrch, were published in i360Gov for their article on “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly in Government Grants Management”. The piece discussed the findings of the 2018 Annual Grants Management Survey. The good news is that there are more new people joining the field of grants management and well-qualified staff is considered to be the key to success for their colleagues. The bad news is the amount of time that seems to be spent on compliance by grant managers.
