On October 4th, REI Systems and the Johns Hopkins University's Advanced Academic Programs hosted a Government Analytics Breakfast (GAB) Forum. The GAB Forum brings together professionals from academia, government, and industry to discuss advances in data-driven decision-making in the public sector, strengthening the community that works to improve government by using analytic methods.
HRSA awards grants to thousands of recipients each year, who contribute to health services received by tens of millions of Americans. HRSA’s grants processes need to be re-engineered and the grants management system modernized to prepared for emerging requirements related to the GREAT Act, which requires data standardization and streaming. The Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) system is an end-to-end grant support and program management application that unifies grant management processes across HRSA.

Following the April 25th Government Analytics Breakfast (GAB) Forum hosted by REI Systems and Johns Hopkins University, NextGov published an article citing the speaker, Sarah Ellis Peed from DHS' Office of Infrastructure Protection, and her advice on how data analysts can make their analyses useful and convincing.
REI Systems was asked to modernize OPIC’s web-based enterprise solutions. Including, their Insight Platform, implemented with Salesforce, and replacing and retiring mission-critical legacy applications, in order to support OPIC’s U.S. foreign policy mission.
