Category B award expands federal agencies’ access to REI’s AI, cloud, data, and digital modernization capabilities.
STERLING, Va. — REI Systems, a technology solutions provider with more than 36 years of experience advancing government missions, announced the activation of its contract under the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) VI Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). Awarded in June 2026, REI’s Category B contract (80TECH-26-D0403) positions the company to compete for enterprise-wide IT solutions and services opportunities across the federal government during the vehicle’s five-year base ordering period and five-year option period.
NASA SEWP VI is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle designed to streamline federal procurement of advanced technology solutions and services. With a $20 billion ceiling per contract and a 10-year (5-year base and 5-year option) ordering period beginning November 1, 2026, SEWP VI provides agencies with a flexible acquisition pathway to accelerate modernization and address complex mission requirements.
The award carries special significance for REI. The company began in 1989 with a single NASA contract and has since grown into a 100% employee-owned technology company supporting critical missions across the federal government. SEWP VI builds on that longstanding NASA relationship while opening new opportunities to deliver innovative technology solutions across government.
“This award represents an exciting next chapter in REI’s longstanding relationship with NASA,” said Shyam Salona, co-founder and CEO of REI Systems. “As government technology needs evolve, agencies need faster, simpler ways to acquire comprehensive solutions. Through SEWP VI, we can bring together our proven enterprise IT capabilities, AI-enabled solutions, enabling technologies, and specialized implementation and systems integration services to help agencies accelerate modernization, reduce complexity, and achieve meaningful mission impact.”
Through its SEWP VI Category B award, REI will bring its expertise in SI/AI, enterprise data orchestration and analytics, cloud and application modernization, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and systems integration to help federal agencies modernize legacy environments, connect disparate systems, streamline operations, and make more informed decisions.
