REI will design and develop Change Management/Control Process for PCORI

Sterling, Va. – 30 November 2016 – REI Systems (REI) announced today that it has been awarded a contract with the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to develop and help implement a Change Management/Control Process (CM/CP). REI will help PCORI improve its research funding application process in support of the institute’s mission to fund patient-centered health research.

PCORI is an independent nonprofit, nongovernmental organization authorized by Congress in 2010. Its mandate is to improve the quality and relevance of evidence available to help patients, caregivers, clinicians, employers, insurers, and policy makers make informed health decisions by funding comparative clinical effectiveness research. REI will develop a CM/CP to improve PCORI’s application quality, application experience, and staff efficiency.

This contract to draft, design, and develop the CM/CP is the first part of a three-year master service agreement with PCORI. During this first phase, REI will spend approximately two months developing the CM/CP from end to end. After identifying opportunities for improvement, drafting a design, and conceptualizing the structure of roles and responsibilities to support the CM/CP, REI will present the CM/CP and an implementation plan to PCORI’s leadership.

“My team and I are excited to help improve PCORI’s research application process,” says Subhash Kari, Vice President at REI. “We sincerely believe in the institute’s mission to support patient-centric health research, so it is a privilege to be involved in contributing to those outcomes.”

REI has supported organizational change management, process design, and performance improvement as part of the company’s 25+ years of serving Federal, State and Local, and commercial customers. In December 2015, REI was awarded a three-year contract with GSA to advise and support the implementation of the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA).
