2020 has brought some big highs and surprises for us here at REI Systems. Like all of you, we are dealing with the current reality of COVID-19 and finding innovative solutions in order to keep our employees safe and connected, and our customers supported.
Before we were social distancing, REI Systems had a lot to celebrate! We were recognized nationally as a Top Workplace for Commuters, and the Washington Business Journal ranked us 7th on the list of Largest Minority-Owned Companies in the greater D.C. area.
REI Systems also hit the ground running in 2020 by providing thought leadership via published articles. We shared our insights with Government Executive, Federal News Network, Signal, Washington Business Journal, and NextGov. Topics ranged from the untapped potential of Data Analytics to our Grants Management Survey Results, and how Augmented Reality can be used in Federal Agencies. Catch up on all of our articles here: REI in the News.
Stay Safe. Stay Smart. Stay 6 Feet Apart.

Thought Leadership When someone thinks about Augmented Reality (AR), the first thing that usually comes to mind is games like Pokemon Go. But AR isn’t just for games. Check out REI’s article in Federal News Network, “How Augmented Reality can push the envelope of innovation in Federal Agencies.”
More than 80 percent of government analytics professionals say that analytics play a key role in their agency’s most significant decisions, yet, they’re encountering major difficulties in attempting to effectively analyze their data to fully realize this value. REI Systems’ Analytics Survey was cited in Signal’s article “Unleash the Untapped Potential of Data Analytics.”

We had the opportunity to hear from Christina Yancey from the U.S Dept of Labor and Diana Epstein from the U.S. Office of Management & Budget and their insight on “The Evidence Act- Opportunities, Implementation, and Lessons for Evidence-Based Decisions.” You can view the entire presentation here.
Even though we are still social distancing, we will be returning with a Virtual Government Analytic Breakfast titled, “How the federal government is using evidence and data to get better results,” on Tuesday May 5th. Events are free and open to the public. Interested in joining us? REGISTER HERE
