REI Systems helped the U.S. Office of Management and Budget promote open government and accountability through a single searchable website to track all Federal spending.
REI Systems created an intuitive design and open source platform which offers valuable insight into the health of Information Technology programs across the U.S. Federal Government.
During fiscal year 2012, the U.S. federal government spent $539.4 billion through grant programs, most through state and local (S&L) governments. The federal government has undertaken numerous initiatives to automate and improve their grants management process, including Grants.gov.
In response to the First Open Government National Action Plan (2011), award-winning websites like
Data.gov, USASpending.gov, Performance.gov, and ITDashboard made more and better data available for
public consumption.
